The Data Scientist/Engineer will work in our offices in Oslo, closely collaborating with the team in Germany.
Some travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and insights from large-scale, high-dimensional data to solve complex business problems through data preparation, modeling, and analysis.
- You develop and use data platforms and tools to develop and dimension storage systems.
- You combine your programming skills with your knowledge of energy markets and the functioning of battery storage systems.
- You model new market scenarios to support business development.
- To improve operational strategies in software development you create time series simulations.
- You use data analytics to retrieve actionable insights in sales, engineering, development and operational management
Personal Attributes:
- Academic degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience/qualification
- 3 years’ work and relevant professional experience as Energy Data Scientist/ Analyst/ Engineer or comparable.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English is required, with strong spoken German skills.
- Flexibility to travel to German office regularly.
- Team and communication skills.
- Sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Python is essential, with demonstrated experience in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting code.
- Ideally, experience in designing, building, and maintaining ETL data pipelines.
- Experience in CI/CD is beneficial
- Knowledge of battery technology and electrical engineering is beneficial
- Knowledge of electricity markets and regulation is an advantage
